(“Phonesack Group”) is a Lao Developer of international standards and strives to become the first and most successful biggest solely owned Lao mining company in Lao PDR. Phonesack Group operates from its headquarters in Vientiane Capital, where it oversees several subsidiaries operating a diverse range of industries located across several provinces in Lao PDR. Phonesack Group launched its maiden business in the wood industry in 1988 with the aim for producing high quality processed and semi-processed wood products for domestic and foreign markets.

After years of operating the wood business, Phonesack Group ventured into the construction business and established its construction company in 1996. With aggregated capital and experience gained over the years, and given the rich and abundant natural resources in Lao PDR, Phonesack Group then decided to invest in the mining and hydropower industries and successfully gained concession from the Government of Lao PDR (“GOL”) to develop the Khamkeut Saen-Udom Gold Mine Project in Khamkeut District, Bolikhamxay Province, the 650 MW Nam Theun 1 Hydroelectric Power Project in Pakkading District, Bolikhamxay Province, and the Coal Mining Project in Kaleum District, Xekong Province and Ta-Oy District, Salavan Province respectively.
